Taiwan Excellence Pavilion Concludes Historic Participation at “LEAP 2026,” Opening Promising Horizons for Tech Partnerships Between Taiwan and the Kingdom

Taiwan Excellence has successfully concluded its highly popular and historic first-ever participation at the LEAP 2026 conference in Riyadh. The event generated significant momentum among technology leaders, investors, and decision-makers in the Middle East, cementing Taiwan’s standing as an innovative strategic partner actively shaping the future of global AI infrastructure.

The Taiwan Pavilion, organized under the theme “Taiwan AI Island,” witnessed a heavy turnout of official delegations, representatives from major Saudi institutions, global tech firms, and public and private entities interested in localizing technology and knowledge transfer. The exhibition successfully highlighted vast investment opportunities and industrial cooperation between Taiwanese companies and their Saudi counterparts, driven by the strong alignment of Taiwanese manufacturing expertise with the strategic pillars of Saudi Vision 2030 in high-performance computing, clean energy, and sustainable smart edge systems.

Furthermore, the pavilion was honored by the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Saud Al Saud, who toured the booth to inspect the outstanding Taiwanese brands and cutting-edge innovations on display. The participation also garnered extensive media coverage, welcoming  leading regional media channels and prominent publications such as Okaz, Al Bilad, Sabq, and Al Madina, reflecting immense media interest in Taiwanese technology and its growing alignment with the Saudi market.

The event served as a dynamic platform bringing together media, industry representatives, and potential business partners, allowing Taiwanese companies to unveil their latest technological solutions and explore fresh avenues for cooperation. Moreover, participating brands engaged in highly promising discussions with key figures across Saudi enterprises, government-related organizations, and local industry leaders particularly in AI infrastructure, edge computing, industrial automation, smart mobility, and intelligent applications. These initial connections set a solid groundwork for ongoing business and technical exchanges long after the exhibition’s close.

In addition to the leading technical demonstrations presented by 22 Taiwanese companies showcasing 53 innovative solutions, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion stood out with a unique set of interactive, on-ground activities that drew thousands of visitors, creating an exceptional cultural and human experience that bridged advanced technology with local and Taiwanese identity:

AI Palm Reading: An engaging and innovative entertainment experience that utilized advanced computer vision algorithms to analyze fine hand lines, offering smart, interactive readings that delighted attendees.

Draw Me Bot: An entertaining live demonstration showcasing the precision and motion control of Taiwanese robotics, as the autonomous arm drew instant, highly accurate portraits of pavilion visitors.

Boba Networking: A daily interactive networking hub where experts, investors, and buyers gathered in a friendly atmosphere to discuss business opportunities while enjoying Taiwan’s famous bubble tea (“Boba”) a symbolic gesture of modern Taiwanese hospitality.

Participating companies most notably ASUS with its NVIDIA Blackwell HGX B300 server system, PEGATRON with its liquid cooling server solutions, Advantech with its DS-011 Ultra Slim and Low Power Edge-AI PC Box, AAEON with the BOXER-8642GB edge computing system, Getac with the X600 rugged mobile workstation, MSI with the EV Charger 801EVC, UfiSpace with its 800G switches, and Transcend with its high-performance storage solutions demonstrated that their innovations are field-ready and fully optimized to meet the strict demands of Saudi Arabia’s upcoming mega-projects.

Building on this resounding success, Taiwan Excellence has laid the foundation for a new era of sustainable economic and industrial partnerships between Taipei and Riyadh, promising continuous collaborative efforts to turn digital innovation into a tangible reality that serves the aspirations of both nations.
